Montville Views Issue 18 Term 4 Week 7
From the desk of the Principal
Welcome to another fortnight here at Montville School where we are geasring up for our Art Show tonight. I have been impressed by the quality of the art work the students have produced and have seen first hand how much the students have enjoyed working alongside the visiting artists. I would like to thank all of the artists, the Heritage Bank Palmwoods and the Montville P&C for their support in making the 2022 Art Gallery and Concert a success.
With less than 4 weeks to go until the end of the 2022 school year we still have a lot to get through. The students are working hard finishing off assessments, we are preparing our classrooms and practicing musical items for our Art Show as well as the many other things that go on each day here. I want to recognise the behaviour of the students as the Care for Themselves, Others and The Environment. To recognise this wonderful behaviour we will be taking the students on a fun day to the movies at the Nambour Cinemas. Notes have have gone home this week and we hope to have as many students attend as possible.
On the last day of school, Friday December 9 I would like to invite the students to wear free dress and also bring a plate of food to share. We will be having a shared lunch at 10:45am to celebrate a positive and productive 2022 school year. There will be more information about this in the coming weeks.
Finall I would like to wholeheartedly thank our P&C and volunteers that work to provide our students with a wide variety of opportunities each and every day. We are holding a volunteers morning tea on Tuesday 29 November and are really looking forward to giving back to these wonderful generous people.

Year 1/2 Update
Another busy time in our classroom. We have been writing Procedures for our English. They have been making A disgusting sandwich and making a disgusting potion
Please feel free to drop by for a cuppa and a disgusting sandwich, or order a potion for home. We have many qualified staff to place your order. A popular choice is a sandwich which uses unicorn poo as butter. It gives a lovely colour to the sandwich. There are many toppings to choose from such as an assortment of flies, spiders, bats, eyeballs, spider webs. These can also be added to the potions. We have a lot of variety and we can cater to any taste.

We have been working hard with our English assessment-Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, also, the students have had fun learning and playing new maths and literacy games. Thank you to the parents who have spent time in our classroom, we hope you have enjoyed working with the students in our class.
